TRAVEL DATES I FIRST PAY, FIRST RESERVE BASIS

Day 1- Arrival, Meet & Assist at the Airport – Dinner and Overnight at Hotel (D)

Day 2- Cairo (B, L, D) – After Breakfast, Visit Old Cairo, Abu Serga, Hanging Church, Visit the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx. After Lunch, Visit the Egyptian Museum, and Papyrus and Perfume Shop. Enjoy an Open buffet dinner with a belly dance show on the Nile River cruise. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3- Cairo- St Catherine (B, L, D) – St Catherine: Drive from Cairo to Dahab, Visit St. Catherine Monastery, enjoy lunch, Dinner, check in, and overnight. (Optional Climbing to Sinai Mountain).

Day 4– Israel (B, L, D) – Going to Taba border and depart to Israel. Lunch. Going to hotel Check in.

Day 5- BETHLEHEM – Mt of olives – (B, L, D) – After breakfast, Visit Bethlehem Shepherd’s field. Visit the Church of Nativity and St. Catherine’s Church. Proceed to the Palm Sunday Road all the way to Dominus Flevit where Jesus saw the destruction of Jerusalem. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations, the place which houses the rock where Jesus wept during His agony. Drive to Mt. of Olives for our Panoramic view of Old and New Jerusalem. Visit the Church of Ascension and the PATER NOSTER Church where Jesus taught the “Our Father” written in many languages. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.

Day 6- Old City Jerusalem – Dead Sea – Qumran – Jericho ( B, L, D) – After breakfast, We Proceed to the old city and see the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus healed a blind man. Follow the Stations of the Cross in VIA DOLOROSA, from the Chapel of Flagellation to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where we can find the last station. See Temple Mount and the Wailing Wall, the most sacred place for the Jews. Drive to Jericho the oldest known city in the world- Jericho to view Mt Temptation and the famous Sycamore Tree. Visit Qumran, and enjoy time in the Dead Sea. Dinner & overnight in Bethlehem.

Day 7- Mt Zion – Caesarea – Haifa– Nazareth (B, L, D) – After Breakfast, we proceed to Mt. Zion and the Room of the Last Supper where the Holy Spirit descended among the Apostles Visit also the Church of St. Peter of Gallicantu, which was built on the house of Caiphas where Jesus was tried and denied three times. Then drive to Caesarea Maritima to visit the Aqueduct ONLY. Travel to Haifa, and visit the Basilica of Mt. Carmel. View as well the Bahia shrine and beautiful garden. Then drive. Dinner & overnight in Nazareth.

Day 8- Cana – Sea of Galilee – churches – Nazareth (B, L, D) – Drive on to the village of CANA, where Jesus performed the Miracle of changing water into wine at the wedding ceremony and we will give a chance for married couples to renew their vows. Visit the Church of Annunciation where we can find the original cave where the angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she would bear a child by the Holy Spirit. Also, visit Joseph’s workshop where Jesus spent most of his childhood. Proceed to Capernaum, the place where Jesus did His first public ministry and performed many miracles. On to Tabgha and visit the Church of the Primacy of St. Peter and the Church of Multiplication of loaves and fishes. Experience boat ride at the Sea of Galilee, Continue to Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus preached the famous Sermon on the Mount. Drive to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 9- Mt Tabor – (B, L, D) – Drive to Yardenit the traditional site of Jesus’ baptism by John the Baptist where we will have the chance to renew our baptismal vows. We visit the Church of Transfiguration Mt Tabor. After Lunch depart to Sheikh Hussein Bridge Transfer to Hotel for Dinner.

Day 10- Amman – Petra – Amman (B, L, D) After breakfast, We proceed to tour the beautiful city of Petra. Dubbed the “Rose City”, the 2000-year-old Nabatean capital is one of the world’s wonders. Enjoy the picturesque Siq then walk to the Treasury, a rose-colored monumental building artfully carved out of sheer rock. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 11- Madaba – Nebo – City Tour – Amman (B, L,) After Breakfast, Proceed to Madaba to visit the Monastery of St. George, which hosts the unique mosaic Map of Egypt, Jordan, and the Holy Land. The map is believed to be the first one for this area, as it was built in the 6th century. Then we visit Mt. Nebo, where Moses viewed the Promised Land before he died. After lunch. Transfer to Airport.
